Bird Bread Mix Original
Harrison's Bird Foods Bird Bread Mix Original is an organic baking mix which enables owners to bake their bird a healthy, organic treat. The bread can be given as a supplementary feed and encourages your bird to eat fruit or vegetables as they can be baked into the bread. It can also be given as a treat. The bread mix does not contain any added colour, preservative, or flavoring agents, and has been tested to ensure it does not contain any pathogenic bacteria; this meakes it safe for your bird to consume. The recipe has been developed by ornithologists and veterinarians.
- Tasty and healthy bread to which fruit, vegetables or nuts can be added.
- Can be given as a treat or as a supplementary feed.
- Simply combine the entire bag of mix with 2 whole organic eggs (no shell and remove yolk for less fat), 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of high-quality organic vegetable oil, and 1 cup (235 ml) of water.
- Fill a greased bread pan or muffin tins and bake for 25-35 minutes at 177°C (do not bake in a nonstick or PTFE-coated cookware, as the fumes are toxic to birds).
