The diffuser works by releasing a copy of a natural cat pheromone which is instantly recognisable and soothing to your cat. The pheromone tells your cat that they are safe, thus relieving anxiety. In turn, this helps to reduce problem behaviours triggered by stress (including furniture scratching, excessive meowing, and inappropriate urination).
The diffuser can be useful for everyday anxiety if your cat is prone to shyness; for use prior to stressful events like thunderstorms and fireworks; and for stress related to conflict between cats. It covers an area of up to 70 metres squared.
