SPECIFIC Endocrine Support is a wet diet designed to provide nutritional support to cats with diabetes mellitus and associated conditions such as pancreatitis.
SPECIFIC uses fish as a base for all its products, because it is a well-balanced protein that is made up of exactly the composition of amino acids that your pet needs. Fish contains unsaturated fatty acids that support not only the development of the brain and vision, but also a strong immune system. SPECIFIC diets also contains high levels of Omega-3 fish oils to support the body's natural anti-inflammatory process.
- Low in carbohydrates and high in fibre to help control blood glucose levels
- Contains high levels of Omega-3 from fish and beta-glucans to support the body's natural anti-inflammatory processes and improve insulin sensitivity
- Contains high levels of zinc, selenium and vitamin A to support the immune system
- Contains high levels of antioxidants including vitamin A and E
